A Note about our General Dentists

      Samuel J. Burrow III, DDS, MS

 

David H. Moore, DDS, MS, graduated from North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1986. He completed his Master of Science degree as well as received a certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Pediatric Dentistry at The Ohio State University in 1988. Dr. Moore holds appointments to Carolinas Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital and is an adjunct professor for the UNC School of Dentistry, Department of Pediatric Dentistry.  Additionally, Dr. Moore is a Diplomat for American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.  Dr. Moore is the proud father of one daughter, Ryan.

 

Cecilia Hwang, DDS, completed her undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.   She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction at UNC-Chapel Hill in 2003.  She also completed her training in specialty of pediatric dentistry at the University of Iowa.  Dr. Hwang is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the North Carolina Dental Society.

  Doctors Moore and Hwang are similarly involved with the: American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry the North Carolina Academy of Pediatric Dentistry the American Dental Association the North Carolina Dental Society.

Carrie Dunlap, DDS was born and raised in Fayetteville, N.C. She received a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Campbell University in 2000. Dr. Dunlap attended and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2004. During her dental training Dr. Dunlap participated in extramural rotations at the Oral Surgery Department of UNC-Chapel Hill and the Pediatric Dental Clinics of Cumberland and Orange Counties. Dr. Dunlap participates annually in Give Kids a Smile Day. Prior to joining Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Dunlap worked in a general dental office for two years. Dr. Dunlap is an active member of the American Dental Society, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Charlotte Dental Society. Dr. Dunlap and her husband have two children. They currently reside in South Charlotte.

Samuel J. Burrow III, DDS, MS, completed his undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University receiving an Engineering degree. While at NCSU Dr. Burrow was inducted into TAU BETA PI National Engineering Honor Society, ALPHA PI MU Engineering Honor Society, Master of Science in Engineering; and PHI KAPPA PHI Honor Society; he graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Carolina State University. Dr. Burrow earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and completed his Orthodontic Residency at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Burrow has been in private practice in Charlotte for twenty-six years at Hull, Burrow and Case, P.A. and is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Orthodontics in the School of Dentistry at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Burrow is Board Certified and a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, The Southern Society of Orthodontics, The North Carolina Dental Society, The American Dental Association, and the Charlotte Dental Society.  Dr. Burrow is married and the proud father of four children.
