While many parents think that baby teeth do not matter since they fall out, pediatricians and pediatric dentists now know that baby teeth set the stage for whats to come. Neglected baby teeth lead to problems with permanent teeth. We recommend that parents gently wipe baby gums with a damp clean washcloth or gauze after every feeding.
