DR. COURTNEY BYRD
Dr. Byrd earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minor in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, in 2004. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville. Dr. Byrd is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society. She has been providing dental care to the pediatric and special needs populations for over a decade.
Interested in healthcare from a young age, Dr. Byrd chose dentistry as it provided her a way to combine her love of science and art. Choosing pediatric dentistry was a simple decision, as Dr. Byrd has always loved the possibilities presented by the imagination of children. When she isn’t cheering on her Carolina Panthers, Dr. Byrd enjoys creating art and building world experiences through travel.
