We love smiling faces. The more we see, the better we feel. That’s why we jumped when we saw an opportunity to join the community of Gastonia in February of this year. Our practice, already known for helping Charlotte parents care for their kids’ teeth, carefully considered the next best location to expand. After reviewing the options, we decided the community vibe in Gaston County was exactly what we were looking for in our next office.
Partnership
We already knew & respected the folks over at Hannon Orthodontics and knew we could have a great partnership with them. Since our goal is to provide total care for your child (age 0-18), it’s important that we can offer our patients a referral to a trusted orthodontist, should a child be in need of additional oral care.
Location
After finding the right space (convenient to most major roads, near the hospital & upcoming retail development) and the right partnerships, the next step was to choose exactly which of our smiling faces we wanted to staff the office. And, we think we found a pretty great team.
Team
Led by Dr. Moore, the office is home to Kerri Hester and Tonya Lane (both certified dental assistants), Mariela Palma Martinez and Tiffany Poarch (dental assistant II), and Bethany Robinson (our appointment coordinator & a dental assistant II). Our small patients (and even our growing teens!) will only form a positive bond with dental care if each one of our team members truly cares about helping children have a pleasant experience each and every time they visit. Even when a cavity might need to be addressed! Our team works hard to ensure that children (from a very early age) learn that dental work is not only tolerable but can actually be a fun event.
Information
We know that parents want the very best care for their children. We also realize it can be a challenge to find the right fit for a child’s specific needs, preferences, and temperament. That’s why our site has a blog with important information about caring for children’s oral health, staff profiles to introduce parents to the people who will be working with their children, and even virtual office tours. We also offer parents the answers to many of our frequently asked questions on our website. Our Gastonia office is designed to make your children comfortable when visiting the dentist and we are very happy to be able to share that experience online with a virtual tour.
Of course, if you don’t find what you are looking for online, we are only a phone call or visit away. Our staff would be happy to address any of your concerns or give you a tour of our office.
