Davidson is a great small town just outside of Charlotte. We love its family-focused culture, the walkability of our green community, and the unique main-street flavor the town adds to the greater Charlotte area. The town is also home to one of our offices.
Our Davidson doors opened in the fall of 2008. We chose this location for so many reasons, one of which being its proximity to the entire Lake Norman area. One of the other factors that helps us decide where we need to open an office is listening to our families. When our Charlotte parents let us know that they would appreciate a northern office that served the Lake Norman and Davidson communities, we started talking. And, in 2008, we made that suggestion a reality. And, we’ve never looked back!

As always, we believe in providing total oral care for your children (ages 0-18). A trusted orthodontist is a key component of that plan. The folks at Zammitti & Gidaly will treat your kids with the same care that we strive for in our office.
Location
Curious about what our Davidson office looks like? No need! We’ve shared an office tour on our website so you and your kids can get familiar with the space before you even walk through the doors! In addition to fun colors, friendly faces, and kid-themed decor, we have a few other items your littles will enjoy (like iPads, game systems, basketball, games, toys, and a big screen TV with children’s movies). Imagine kids actually being excited about coming to the dentist!

Team
Our Davidson office is headed up by Dr. Kim Nixon (with Dr. Moore as a support). Our team of dental assistants includes Ileana Franco, Melissa Stamey (who also helps us with appointments), Marlee Phomsopha, Kerri Hester, and Tejal Patel. Amber Nash and Kathryn Smith are our resident registered dental hygienist. As with our team in our other offices (read more about our recent Gastonia office post), we hire and train each employee to not only be experts in their area of practice, but to also truly care about the health, welfare, and happiness of our patients and their families. A lifetime of good dental health begins with experiences and associations formed at an early age. In fact, we recommend that you bring your child for their first visit around six months after the first tooth appears or by their first birthday, whichever is earlier. During this initial visit, you are welcome to accompany your child to the exam room to help them feel at ease. On future visits, we will work with you and your child to build a comfort level with our team.
